Phase 1

Editing Software

DaVinci Resolve (free, professional-grade) or Adobe Premiere Pro. A computer meeting the software's minimum specs, and an external hard drive for footage storage.

Phase 2–3

Reference & Scopes

Access to royalty-free music and sound effect libraries (Epidemic Sound, Artlist, or YouTube's free audio library) and familiarity with your editor's built-in waveform/scope tools.

Phase 4

Export Test Devices

A smartphone or tablet for real-device playback testing, and accounts on YouTube and Instagram for understanding actual platform specifications.
